Tree planting at Juba Day Secondary School

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June every year to raise awareness and promote action for the protection of the environment. This year’s focus was on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience.

Youth Relief Organization contributes to this cause by engaging in activities that directly impact environmental preservation and this year we donated and planted 100 tree seedlings to Juba Day Secondary School.

YORO also calls on all governments and concerned parties to address the reality of the climate crisis, providing concrete solutions for people who are already on the move, for people who want to move, and for those who want to stay.
